I grew up in Australia and studied History and Literature there, in the US and in Italy. I moved to Italy permanently after my Ph.D and lived in Rome for many years before moving to Umbria where I live in the countryside with my family (where we produce our own olive oil). As well as being a celebrant, I work as a translator and lead walking tours. In my spare time I sing in a choir and study music.
As a celebrant I only accept a limited number of ceremonies a year so I can really enjoy each one. I love getting to know the people I work with and making their ceremony special. I trained to be a celebrant in the UK at FOIC (Federation of Independent Celebrants) and I am also a certified celebrant here in Italy. I have celebrated weddings all over Italy in regions such as Umbria, Tuscany, the Marche, Puglia, and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
