Unfortunately, there are people out there who call themselves celebrants but have no training: they may be actors playing the part or venue employees reading a pre-prepared script.<\/p><p>The <strong>national association of celebrants, FederCelebranti<\/strong>, is a valuable filter. With members across the country, the &#8220;<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/celebranti.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Find a Celebrant<\/a><\/span>&#8221; tool is a great help for wedding planners (or couples) looking for trained, professional celebrants.<\/p><p>I know that one of the goals that FederCelebranti is pursuing is to <strong>register certified celebrants so that they can celebrate a civil marriage<\/strong> without having to be delegated by the local mayor.
